David Glenndon Shackley, 74, of Staley, died Saturday, May 29, 2021 at his residence.

Memorial Services, 11 AM, Friday, June 4, 2021, at Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, Ramseur with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard.

Officiating, Rev. Jeff Joyce.

David was a native of Massachusetts and a long time resident of Randolph County. He was retired from Wal-Mart and a veteran of the United States Navy. David was preceded in death by his first wife, Brenda Susan Shackley, parents, George and Beatrice Barnes Shackley, and sister, Mabel S. Messina.

Survivors: wife, Kimberly Ryals Shackley, of the home, daughter, Jennifer Shackley, of High Point, step-daughter, Kelly Thompson, and husband, Jeff, of Sophia, brother, George Shackley, of FL, grandchildren, Amaya Shackley, Baylor Thompson, and Tucker Thompson , nephews, George Shackley, of Rutherfordton, Bob Messina, of MA.

Visitation, 10 AM to 11 AM, Friday, Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur and other times at the residence.
