Milda Tumas Nakrosis

Milda “Millie” Nakrosis, 67, of Rye, passed away, October 21, 2014 at Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME. She was born in Germany, a daughter of Veronica Tumas of Norwood, Mass., and the late Adam Tumas. She graduated from Norwood High School and Dean Junior College in Franklin, Mass. Millie worked at Portsmouth Regional Hospital in the Human Resources Department for several years and retired from Portsmouth High School where she was employed as a library assistant for ten years. Millie loved hiking the White Mountains with her son, her nephew and dog Willy, exploring London with a close friend or alone, and a good book. In addition to her mother, she leaves her husband with whom she shared 47 years of marriage, Paul Nakrosis, her son, Todd Nakrosis, nephew, William Culvert Lewis, III of Santa Cruz, CA, and her brother, John Tumas of Delaware. She was predeceased by her sister, Dalia Lewis. At Millie’s request services will be private. If desired, donations may be made to LSF Scout Fund, 14 Nancy Drive, Auburn, Mass., 01501.
