Obituary

Wednesday, September 2, 2015, Thomas C. Chestna, 35-year resident of Guilford, passed away peacefully. Tom is survived by his wife of 46 years, Theresa M. Chestna, his daughter Tamara C. Danison and her husband Chris of CA, his son Thomas C. Chestna III and his wife Rebekah of RI, and his two grandchildren Eric and Nathan Chestna. Born on Feb. 28, 1948, son of the late Thomas and Charlotte Chestna, Tom graduated from Brown University with an A.B./Sc.B. degree and from Rutgers University with a masters degree. A longtime advocate of the Guilford school system, he believed strongly in public education.
Services and burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
